The SkilledUp Life X Space event takes place every Friday at 12 PM GMT, providing a platform for tech founders to learn how to build and scale their startups with the help of SkilledUp Life’s volunteer network. This session focused on leveraging SkilledUp Life’s 55,000 skilled volunteers to support early-stage tech startups in creating scalable tech products.

Utee: Empowering Campus-Based Information Disseminators

Utee introduced his project, a campus-focused platform designed to empower student journalists and influencers by creating a space to share information and build a community. The platform eliminates follower-based popularity, instead ranking users based on engagement and interactions.

To incentivize users, Utee plans to integrate a Layer 3 blockchain called Educhain and introduce NFTs. However, he does not intend to launch the platform in Nigeria due to infrastructure limitations.

Chibuike Okpala: Enhancing the Events Ecosystem

Chibuike Okpala, the project lead at Alphoch, spoke about his app, which aims to streamline the events ecosystem by connecting event creators, attendees, and service providers. The platform seeks to facilitate collaboration and engagement among these stakeholders.

Henry Fasakin: Building Digital Solutions

Henry Fasakin, an experienced software engineer, shared his journey of building various projects. He discussed his current project, Consolve, which connects users to service providers in their area. He expects the platform to launch soon.

Henry also highlighted a previous app he developed, Recycle, which connects users with bottle recyclers. Additionally, he spoke about a movie app called Clipsave and the challenges he faced while building it.
