Manchester-based Logistics Tech Startup, Afrilish joins SkilledUp Life in May 2025 to grow their tech startup.
Founded by Daniel Eze, Afrilish is the go-to app for African food lovers, making African cuisine accessible by connecting people to their favourite local restaurants.

Afrilish is a mobile-first food delivery platform focused exclusively on African cuisine. We connect customers with local African restaurants and food vendors, giving them a dedicated space to be seen and supported without being buried among hundreds of unrelated cuisines. Our mission is to make African food more accessible while helping restaurants grow their businesses through better visibility, tech support, and fairer terms.
Unlike traditional delivery platforms, we don’t charge monthly fees or upfront costs. We only take a 15% commission on each order. This makes Afrilish more accessible to smaller, independent food businesses. Restaurants can choose to use our rider network or rely on their own delivery staff, depending on what works best for them.
We currently have over 1,000 users across six UK locations, with 30 African restaurants already on board. Our mobile app is live on iOS and Android, and we’re actively expanding into more areas as we grow our partner base and improve the platform.
